After a wife is the victim of a violent crime, a young couple moves into a state-of-the-art, gated community to escape the dangers of the outside world. They strike up a quick friendship with their recently-divorced next-door neighbour, who they quickly learn is not as good-natured and friendly as they thought, but a sociopath who becomes obsessed with the wife.
